This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what your rights are. I try to collect as little as possible.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Gabriel Nistoran, based in Romania. You can contact me at gabi@webanalyst.ro or through the contact form on the website.
What I collect and why
- Contact form. If you write to me, I receive your name, email address and message. I use them only to reply to you and to follow up on your request. This is based on my legitimate interest in answering messages sent to me (and, where relevant, on taking steps at your request before a possible collaboration). I keep the message for as long as needed to handle your request.
- Analytics (only with your consent). If you allow analytics, I use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and similar technical data. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Marketing (only with your consent). If you allow marketing, services such as Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) may measure the effect of advertising and personalise ads. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Technical data. Like any website, the server that hosts this site may log technical information (such as IP address, date and time, and the page requested) for security and to keep the site running.
Without your consent, no analytics or marketing cookies are set. I do not sell your data.

Who receives data
- Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and, if enabled, Google Ads), only for the categories you consent to. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area; such transfers rely on safeguards recognised under EU law.
- Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, for the Meta Pixel used with Facebook and Instagram advertising, if enabled), only if you consent to marketing. Meta may process data outside the European Economic Area; such transfers rely on safeguards recognised under EU law.
- Web3Forms, the service that receives messages sent through the contact form and forwards them to my email address.
- My hosting and email providers, who process data on my behalf to run the website and deliver messages from the contact form.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect processing done before). To exercise a right, write to gabi@webanalyst.ro.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or with the authority in your own country.
Changes
I may update this policy, for example if I add or remove a service. The date at the top shows the latest version.
